For over a thousand years, Armenian families have gathered around fires to cook lavash bread, roast meats over charcoal, and layer flavors that define a cuisine: pomegranate molasses, charred garlic toum, sumac-dusted onions, the deep earthiness of bulgur and freekeh. This food tells the story of a culture that survived empires, diaspora, and displacement—and kept cooking anyway.
